About the Artist - Artist Statement

I am an artist, a survivor, and a soul-led dreamer, living near the coast of Southern California, where the Temecula vineyards meet the Pacific Ocean and the spirit still listens.  As a wife and mother of three my spirit still beacons for adventure and excitement.

My art is a fusion of spiritual surrealism and inner child remembrance. It’s where softness meets resilience. Where grief finds color. Where mystery and exploration feels safe again.

My journey into art began not with a paintbrush, but with pain.

As a young woman, I survived a near-fatal car accident caused by a drunk driver where I was ejected from a vehicle at over 100mph. Almost 10 years later, lightening struck our family twice, I lost my brother to life threatening injuries from another car accident.

Life broke my heart and cracked me open in a way I never expected. But through that rupture, something beautiful began to grow: a desire to turn the wreckage into refuge.

In the aftermath, my family and I created a hospitality house named after my beloved brother, Jacob's House.  This home is for families with loved ones in ICU, a space of refuge, comfort, and support, in the middle of a traumatic storm. That mission of expanding support extends into my creative work.

Each piece I create is an invitation.
A whispered reminder that your spirit is still whole.
That magic still exists, even after the storm.
That your inner child is still waiting to be seen, held, and set free.

I create for the ones who have endured.
For the quiet hearts. The cosmic dreamers.
For anyone who needs to remember: there is still beauty. And you are still becoming. You’re not too old, it’s not too late, and now is the time to dream big!
